FEATURE UPDATE Coming Soon

A quick feature update: a new update for The Pyro Player is on the way, enhancing how we handle overused storage. Instead of returning all units with overloaded storage to us for maintenance and a new, larger storage, we've simplified the process. New Options for Updates are Coming for users who have multiple units in one store location.

Feature Update: New Storage Upgrade Options

We actively monitor the devices in your possession to determine if they are nearing or at maximum storage capacity. Instead of sending your units back to us as we would typically do, we will soon be able to provide you with a USB flash drive for each device you have in service. This drive will offer more storage than your current devices, along with a USB splitter. You can easily integrate this upgrade by following these steps:

1. Power off The Pyro Player.

2. Unplug the barcode scanner from the USB port.

3. Plug in the splitter.

4. Insert the USB flash drive into an empty port on the splitter.

5. Connect the scanner to an empty port on the splitter.

6. Power the device on.

   The new storage is automatically detected and ready for use.

Feature Update: Data Usage Friendly Downloads

If you have multiple The Pyro Player units in a single store location and your internet service provider imposes speed limits after a certain amount of usage, this update is designed for you. Instead of each unit connecting to our server via your internet connection for video, image, and program updates, we will soon implement a system where only one device connects to our server over the internet to act as a Hub. Then, all your other devices will connect to the Hub unit over your local network to download video and image library updates. Program updates are small and infrequent enough to continue downloading from the server over the internet.
